Nice Job Claudia! It is obvious that you were truly invested in the success of your case study student. I have enjoyed reading all you have shared this year and it seems like you have been successful, especially with having him be approved for an IEP. I also enjoyed your pictures and graphics. Nice job! See you at graduation!
Wonderful job Claudia! Your student sounds so similar to my case study student. It seems you have really made a connections with Michael and I’m sure that will last even though you will not be with through the rest of the year. I know with my case study student, having the mother there to support what I was doing was very beneficial so I am sorry to hear that you could not contact his mother. Either way you did great!
I really enjoyed the pictures and examples on your slides!
Claudia,
I thought your definition of classroom community was interesting. Reflecting children in their classroom is an important element of building community. However, I realized upon reading yours that I had forgotten to include it in my own. I likewise, found the post-it method of note keeping the be the most effective. What I liked additionally about your case study was the variety of interventions you offered your student. Byt not pigeon holing him I think you really made a space in which he specific needs at the time were being considered.
